Last month we had the incredible opportunity to host a luncheon with some of the best wedding planners in the industry including Events in the City, A. Dominick events, Simply Chic Wed, Elizabeth Duncan Events, Lauryn Prattes Events, Jeanette with District Wedding, Kelsey from Tart Event Co and Karson Butler Events.
Wedding Photographer extraordinaire Abby Jiu graciously organized the get together and opened up her lovely home for the occasion and we couldn’t wait to recap! (In case you didn’t know, Abby happens to be one of Martha Stewart’s top rated photogs, so we were honored and thrilled to have her take some pics for us too).
We started off with baby pineapples filled with market berries & clover honey, and little salads cups layered with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, mojo roasted pork belly and Thai basil.
Then a pretty & tasty selection of open-faced petite sandwiches including pickled peach on grilled country bread with burrata and, grilled chicken with English cucumbers and tzatziki and medium rare skirt steak with chimichurri.

And to top it all off for dessert: banana bon bons with toasted coconut and mini sugared Belgian waffles with raspberry chocolate & hazelnut on baby ghost chairs.

It was such a fun afternoon full of great conversations with the super talented ladies of DC. Thanks again to Abby for hosting the collaboration and to all the planners who came for coming and sharing the love on social media.
